"Where to start with such a talented band? "Lonely for the Last Time" is amazing album from start to finish. Seven Places deliver an energetic dose of powerful melodic pop rock. Everytime I listen to this I can't help but wonder where they came up with so many awesome guitar riffs. Every song is completely loaded with them, and by no means is it overkill either. The rest of the band doesn't let the guitars steal the show, the bass and drumming add the punch which propel the songs.

There are just as many vocal hooks and awesome choruses to compliment the rest of the music, without being too poppy. The main singer has a very clear and melodic voice, his voice fits the music perfectly. His vocal range makes every song liable to get stuck in your head for days. The lyrics just spill over this band's love for God. I would describe this album as a love cd to God, the band's exuberence for God is undeniable. This album takes praise and injects new life into the meaning, much like BEC labelmate Jeremy Camp did with his 2002 release "Stay." Seven Places succeeds where many worship/praise acts fall flat or cliché. The lyrics don't always sound like "I've heard that phrase a hundred times before." Everytime I listen to this cd it makes me extremely happy that I know God. I can't say that for too many albums, the joy in this album is infectious.

Every Christian should own this cd, no questions asked. In my opinion this release was hands down the best Christian cd released in 2003, and right now Seven Places is one of the most promising new bands out there right now. BEC basically just re-released the cd with slightly different cover art and two extra songs. Highly recommended for fans of Jeremy Camp, Telecast, Everyday Sunday, Switchfoot, and Sanctus Real. This will brighten your day for sure!"
