"I meat the singer for this band bartending at The Grand Ol'Opry In Nashville. He told me about this band he had in New York and about this cd. I thought he was just talking smack, like bartenders will, ubtil I came to Amazon and read the reviews and bought the cd......I was so surprised how great it is. They remind me of a sophisticated Brian Seltzer, and he has a great voice! He said the guitar player went to LA to join some other swing band, but, if thses guys are smart they will get back together and put out another CD instead of doing country......

"An entertaining and all around great cd, "Set 'Em Up Joe" has done something that other swing bands have not done. That is: they are creative! From great song titles such as "Hit me with a Hotdog" the originality and fun up-beat tempo of the music gets your zoot suit and swingin' shoes ready to go. I had the opportunity to dance and see these guys live and they had great chemistry with each other not to mention the repore they established with the dancers and listeners. I recommend the purchase of this cd as it is demonstrative of what music artists should strive for: ingenuity. Christopher Roddy"
