"I have bought the CD since my last review and now form a different opinion to the one I had when I had only listened to the sound clips. CDs' 1 and 3 are early recordings of Claudio Villa at his best. CD 2 is a later work with more predominent backing, maybe a bit over orchestrated for the lovers of his early works. CD 1 and 3 suffer in sound quality in comparison to CD 2 BUT the songs are wonderful. The Collection is worth the price just for CDs 1 and 3."

"Poor chioce of songs and arrangements...Too "Jazzy"...The albums are trying to be American instead of sticking to the proven Italian sound...Claudio should stick to what he does best and stay with singing in the Italian Romanza form."

"Pity, to me it sounds like the original vocals, but a "new" inferior (jazzy) backing track has been laid over the vocals. If only they had left them alone, because they were perfect as they were."
