Mick McAuley & Winifred Horan, Serenade (***½) The accordionist and fiddle player from Celtic band Solas make an album for people who can't tell a jig from a reel. Whether playing in unison so tight they sound like a single instrument or multitracking velvet vocals, McCauley and Horan show themselves as purists for melody and little else. "I became enchanted with Winifred Horan when I bought her debut CD. This is more of the same fabulous Celtic style modern music and extremely enjoyable. I highly rate it for their individual talent as well as the music they chose. I LOVE it!"
