Combining Chopins immensely popular 1st Piano Concerto with the almost equally popular 4 Ballades, this coupling displays his brilliant fingerwork and mastery of characterization.
Cho recorded the work at Londons famous Abbey Road Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra and its new Principal Guest Conductor, Gianandrea Noseda. His interpretations of the composers Ballades were set down at the Friedrich-Ebert-Halle in Harburg, Germany.
