CD Reviews

Where has this talent been hiding?????

"I too, saw SC opening up for the Backstreet Boys at a Cali show and was blown away! On my way home from the concert, I played this CD for 3 hours straight BLASTING in the dark, way cool! I was way impressed with JJ, a white female rapper, whose talent is beyond a description. Byron, the male lead singer, brings the vocals to every song which impresses the ladies. Both of them are hella nice in person if you get to meet them.

How to describe this CD if you had to... Rap meets Rock with slices of R&B and maybe a dabble in pop vocal. The rap style like Eminem, Rock/Rap likeness of Linkin Park, and vocals similar to Amy from Evanescence. Byron's vocals? Fresh!!

Stand out tracks (if you had to choose): Pieces (rock/rap battle it out!!), Playin' Me (Byron -- SWOON!), Simple Dark (free-style at it's greatest!), Better Than Me (JJ slows is down and sounds almost bubblegummy pop with a blanket of R&B), and Let 'Em Know (do I detect some heavy metal here?)

You can hear clips of all these songs at any of SC's websites (as well as a forum with other SC fans at the official website): [...]"

"When I first saw Seminole County, I wasn't sure if I would like them or not. As I traveled to KC to see the Backstreet Boys, I heard bout the opening acts, I heard of Kaci Brown before but no word bout Seminole County.

As I was sitting in the front row waiting for the show to start, Howie D comes out to introudce the opening acts, and I see them walk onto stage, my first impression was "wow" as I saw Jj and her outfit, my type of thing. As they started performing I was enjoying the beat, the song's and of course the performce. I wanted to stand on my feet and show them love but then everyone behind me would of told me to sit down of course as I was rocking out in my seat I was getting into them as my friend was telling me Jj needed to not rap, I just couldn't beleive my ears.

I couldn't get the cd at the moment due to lack of fund's but I wanted to meet them but I couldn't find them.

As I attend my Colorado show a day later, I was really ready to see Seminole County, I was telling everyone who they were, people were like "they don't belong here opening for BSB" I just gave them a look and told them to give them a chance, although due to the trip back from KC and NO sleep for three day's, I had no engery but I still enjoyed them but couldn't stand up to show it which made me feel bad. The band did come out during between opening act's, I so badly wanted to go over and say hello but the shy me couldn't do it plus I could not MOVE whatsoever. Once again I couldn't buy their cd at the show due to lack of fund's but I did buy their cd a day later online and I could not wait to get it in the mail, when I got it I played it and been playing it since.

I've been telling everyone bout them and even my boyfriend likes their music.

It's a very good cd to listen to in the car, at home, or at a party, def buy it it's very wroth it and you won't be let down!

Always,

Shay!"
All I can say is WOW!

"What a sound! Y'all...you need to check this group out! I heard they opened for the Backstreet Boys but they are SOOOOO not a Backstreet sound. Very cool. Very hip. Very...different. Worth the listen. I gave them 5 stars. What do you give 'em? Better be 5 cuz they are DEFINITELY worth that...and more!"
