Product Description Import pressing of the 2009 album from the Norwegian New Age/Neo Classical duo. Inside I'm Singing is a project that started off as an idea for a 10th anniversary celebration of the duo's inception. Many artists have recorded Secret Garden's music and even turned their instrumental melodies into vocal songs. They wanted to reverse the process - take some of their own favorite melodies, have lyrics written to them, arrange them in their own style and invite some of the greatest singers to give their voice and performance to the music. The artists performing on this release include Barbra Streisand, Elaine Paige, Brian Kennedy, Niamh Kavanagh, Peter Corry and many others. There's a sense that this album is attempting to manufacture pop songs from something much finer. An other-worldly singer like Enya or Loreena McKennitt might have lifted these songs to a different level. But I don't want to overstate this criticism. This is a very pleasant-sounding album, and I believe fans of Secret Garden will enjoy it. Since it is a standard, single CD, the price seems unreasonably high. I suppose that means that ONLY the most devoted fans will hear it." Will admit I kind of grew tired of this CD faster than most I own. Think it was due to setting new age songs to words that they were not meant to have. Other than Streisand the other vocalist are pretty unknown here in the US. They were however excellent vocalist."
