CD Reviews

Super head knock shiz

"I am writing this review from the hospital, where I am currently recovering from a broken neck and a blown mind. I loved this album until its secret frequencies matched with the natural harmonics of my cranium and expanded my mind to encompass the whole universe. Unfortunately my brain expanded and blew out a hole in my skull. Now I don't have to just listen to SFC's music, I can take the speaker wires and jack it right into my brain!! I save time, and time = money!"
South Florida?s playful answer to intelligent dance music

"Their otherworldly instrumentation takes their titles from sonic color schemes like Aqua, with the emotive influence of a Spielberg finale, and Sea-Green, eclectic and clever, with its beats squishing and blending amid mournful seagull cries. "Deep Blue," a cannibal drumbeat in a listless swirl of dense, damned-soul chords, has the honor of being remixed by Eli-173 and by Anti-Pop Consortium, minus the verbal acrobatics. Always innovative in their arrangements, yet entirely accessible, SFC brings to mind Mu-ziq's celestial orchestra and the fizzy synth of 80s pop, adding layer upon layer to gorgeous effect. Their tracks are a lesson in electronic composition, manual not included."

"This cd makes me want to cut a hole in my mattress. Crazy Norf Bronx style, this is uno bronk from tres bronx. Thats four for the price of one, and you'd have to be crazy to not buy it. Get the single too, so you can be djing a party and put it on and some kid will be like "what is that crazy sound?" and you'll be like "its that crazy sound buddy!" and you can be all monte fly. worf we all monte fly."
