ENCHANTED DANCE I loved this whole album in the late 70s, and bought this cd mostly because of the incredible Follow Your Road that I still remember clearly after not hearing it since I stopped using an LP turntable in about 1990. I saw them at UCLA performing in the student union in I think 1979 or 1980 ... they were well received, but true to my not hearing much about this band in the general public, the turnout was not large... maybe 200 people. There has never been a band that sounded anything like these guys... they're awesome." Worth the import price Jim Stalker | Roseville, CA | 07/13/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "This CD is a watershed. Jerry Hey horn arrangements and Ken Wild/Bob Wilson rhythm section make up for whatever weakness in songwriting were going on (there isn't much). There are 5 "insanely great" songs; Free, Follow Your Road, Imagine, and two instrumentals, Morning Star and Enchanted Dance. Tommy LiPuma produced some of my favorite records of this era (Yellowjackets debut, and Jungle Fever by Neil Larsen) and gets it right again with a great drum sound and a loose feel where you can hear the players "playing". Pauline's vocals are amazing. Worth whatever they are charging. Look at the other reviews."
