"We loved this LP decades ago. A surprising country break from the San Francisco Sound. We saw them live in Berkeley back then and they made an impression. Memorable tunes - especially Job. Our son assumed it was some kind of hippie relapse until he heard it (and "borrowed it") The vocal dominate and are upbeat. Great album for a rock trivia contest and worth the bucks."

Very, Very Special Orange Blossom

"I saw SeaTrain back in the '70s. With my own two eyes I watched fiddler Richard Greene play every note of Orange Blossom Special. His bow was a blur. Mostly, the notes are played two at a time, which is pushing the limits of the violin. A rockabilly tour de force!



Word to wise: There are vocals in the middle of the song. When they start, focus on what Greene is laying down behind them. It's special."
