Rhythm Train is an unconventional type of acoustic guitar playing that's mixed with field recordings from Thailand. It's mostly metal finger picks on acoustic guitar in a percussive way, with some slide and bare fingers too. It was recorded over a fifteen day period in a stream of consciousness way and then edited down a few months later. An eight song ep, all instrumental except for a loose (really loose) cover of Prince's Sign O The Times. Two of the tracks, Taxi and River Ride, have been used in the film shorts Bangkok Streets and Floating Market. If Chris Whitley and Michael Hedges got in a street fight with Fred Astaire somewhere in Asia it might sound something like this.
