"Scott Joss initial solo album from indie label, Little Dog Records, proves what a truly talented musician he is. The 11 track album consists of mostly cover tunes, but Joss makes them his own with that distinctive baritone voice. And there is only pure, true, traditional country music on this album - no Nashvill pop-abilly to be heard, which makes the album one of the best for anyone wanting to learn about the real stuff. Joss sings lead/backups and plays fiddle and mandolin; additional musicians include Skip Edwards, Jim E. Christie, Taras Prodaniuk and Pete Anderson."
