"There's nothing particularly wrong with this album, which is a blend of country twangs and electro-rock, but the second album, The Works Project, is far better. Here there are only two really great tracks: the funky 'Deutsche LP Record' and the folky 'Miss Goddess Nr. 2'. Some of the other tracks, such as 'Your Kingdom To Dust', can be less inventive and get a little relentless in their hollering sound. The second album sees a far greater mix of styles, more prominent use of electronics, and better songwriting. Get that one first."
