CD Reviews

Another exceptional release from Satyricon

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Satyricon's Intermezzo 2 is an awesome CD. While not their best work, the EP takes the listener to hell and back. The songs are definitely BLACK, and that's the way they should be. With the exception of "Blessed From Below", there is not one moment of softness on the CD. That's not to say that the song is bad, as it's one of my favorite Satyricon songs. Buy this album; if you like Black Metal, you will not be disappointed."
Even better production, raw, and typically Satyricon

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I am the proud owner of all stuff that Satyricon has ever released, including their first demo: All Evil.. When I heard this MCD at first I was hypnotized... There were some elements in the music that were never used before... Keyboard stuff that sounds more like a sound rather than an instrument... etc etc.. Good guitar work, great songs.. especially the first.... I'm really looking forward to their new album and I think these guys are in the front row of the Black Metal scene, together with DarkThrone, Mayhem, Emperor, Immortal and Dimmu Borgir"

"People keep looking at me like I'm weird, but I find black metal relaxing.. Anyways, this is very pleasent to listen to. I enjoy it, especially the last track, which is particularly relaxing."
