Sandra's Close to Best

"Close to Seven is by far one of Sandra's best albums. Also, the fact that it has the Enigma sound attached to it from Michael Cretu only enhances the sensuality of her voice as well as the overall haunting yet sultry atmosphere of the album. Sandra's singing ability and Cretu's writing and production show maturity, depth, and substance as well as quality. It is a shame that many of Sandra's albums are European imports and not easily obtainable here in the U.S. market without having to special order them. If her albums were released and targeted at the American market she would definitely receive the credit that she is due. I highly recommend this album for anyone who also enjoys the music of Enigma. Even the dance tracks on Close to Seven are of excellent quality and substance ( they're not pop-candy top 40 dance tunes by any means). The slower paced tracks are well crafted and show excellent diversity. "When the Rain Doesn't Come" is very haunting and the jazz-tinged"Steady Me"(note the "Africa" from Toto backbeat-like drum sound) are a relief. I give this album more than 5 stars!Armando in Arizona"

She can sing any note,no matter how difficult it is with the utmost ease.If you're looking for a priceless album,this is it !."On your way to India"is the feather in the cap."Seal it forever" flows like wine. SANDRA - if you're seeing this , continue the good work.I've been searching hard for your music since 88' -when I saw your maria magdalena video on India's national channel. "This is the music for lost souls. It's Fantastic, amazing and outstanding Sandra's voice on this album. If you like pop music or not this sound is especially made for you. They said five stars. I say all the stars in the Universe!"
