The Most Delightful Christmas Album Ever

"The Salon Orchestra Cologne leads a tour through some wonderful Christmas music in an unconvential way. The instrumentation is surprising, delightful, and yet it works brilliantly both in comic and serious moods. The medley of tunes from Hansel and Gretel captures both the humor and power of that opera. There is also a very moving Ave Maria. At the same time, there are a number of medleys played with all the humor and delight of the first Christmas you can remember. If you love Christmas music, add this to your collection. If you love unconventional treatments of the old standards, add this to your collection. This is the first album I turn to while I deck the halls."
