"This album is a very dramatic change from Sakura's last outing - no more of those forward, modern, kicking Philadelphia R&B beats. "Shishir" (a term for "cool season" in India) consists almost entirely of love songs, lushly arranged, and while Sakura's known as a songwriter, she only co-wrote about half the material here.Sakura has said in an interview that despite not writing, she feels more like a creator on this album, and I agree with that. When an artist comes to a stage where you no longer have to prove your worth, just to be recognized, some very interesting things can happen. Sakura's definitely more confident, assured as an artist on this album, carrying the songs with her just emotions - which is more than enough, and very comforting to fall into.If you ever get to try this CD out, start from track 6, it exemplifies Sakura at her best as a songstress."
