"I'm rarely enamored enough to write a review of an entire CD. However, Selected Works is worthy of the best I can give. Ryan. Farish has put together such a wonderful collection of some of his earlier works; you'd be hard pressed to find these delightful sounds anywhere else. His unique ability to bring you to peaks and valleys, often in a single song, is a main attraction of this CD. There are so many tracts on this one; it is hard to select a single favorite. Ancient Dreams, Autumn Mist, and Dream in Essence are among my favorites. Regardless of your mood, this music fits right in.



Selected Works is a mainstay of my home, office, and car. It is perfect for entertaining; often taking over the conversation it's that good! This CD is comprised of some of Mr. Farish's earlier works, but make no mistake it is every bit as good as Daydreamer, Everlasting, and Beautiful. Selected works should be in everyone's collection. His articulate use of classical piano, violin, and numerous other instruments has Ryan Farish outdoing himself. Unlike many musicians today of this genre, Ryan performs music on real instruments and mixes it into the smooth, relaxing, sensual sounds, pulling you in closer with every song. Ryan Farish has done works for The Weather Channel, Storm Stories, the movie "Into the Sun", starring Steven Segal, among other important works. Selected Works belongs in every music lover's collection.
