"I listened to the CD's and immediately started to relax. The professional verbal instructions accompanied by the blending of music and soothing sounds creates a comprehensive relaxation training program. It was so easy to be trained to relax and arrest my stress that as I was training myself with very little effort on my part. This training is uniquely user friendly; I would recommend this to everyone no matter what your level of stress. This relaxing technique had a profound improvement on the quality of my day to day life; it has given me back my personal and professional confidence. I have had extensive experience with other programs and this is the BEST!"

"I have tried Dr Nathan's series and found them to be profoundly relaxing. I have employment as an RN on a busy dialysis/diabetic unit. There is a great deal of stress and responsibilty. It is hard to just "let go" and rest.

Dr Nathan's voice and visualizations lead one to a deep state of serenity. I have used the series for both a daytime realxation state and for insomnia. Both successful.

I would recommend this product to anyone with the need to "disconnect" and self heal.

"I just listened to this 2 CD program for the first time yesterday and it was a great experience. I've been under mountains of stress lately, so I really needed it. I've been an avid user of meditation techniques since my teens, but the experience of total relaxation I got from The Fast Technique for Stress relief was more profound than anything I've ever gotten from my years of meditating--and this was just from the first disc!



As I listened I got so relaxed that I accidentally fell asleep during the last part of the CD. The whole CD kept repeating while I was asleep. When I finally woke up, I was so deeply and pleasantly relaxed (and my muscles were so relaxed and limp) that I litterally Could Not Get Up--not until the section of the CD that brings you back to full awareness finally played again. Ahh! I needed that, things have been rough lately.



I'm looking forward to finding out what kind of relaxing experiences I'll get from the advanced techniques on the second CD. Amazing!





UPDATE: January 10, 2009



Here are some of the experiences I've had using this program over the past 8 months:



1) I figured out that you actually CAN get up even when you're in a deeply relaxed state--if you really want to. What happened the first time was that I wasn't motivated enough to get up. I mean, who REALLY wants to leave a wonderful state of deep, serene relaxation just to do some awful chore like cleaning the litter box, huh? Basically, if whatever you want to do is important or if you really want to do it, you will get up. (Dr. Nathan actually says in the CD that, "you can be fully alert if you ever NEED to be.") Since then, I've awoken from the relaxed state on my own many times. So, not 'coming out of it' doesn't worry me.



2) The Second Disc: Overall the second disc IS really good. Part 7 is a brief but effective relaxation track. And part 4 is especially good. The positive affirmations in part 4 are fantastic! Listening to these affirmations has helped me feel so much more relaxed and positive during stressful situations. And I'm more positive in general.

(NOTE: On the CD case, track 1 of this disc is called PART 4, track 2 is called PART 5, etc.)



THE REST OF THE SECOND CD: I do have a complaint. To be honest, parts 5 and 6, have always confused me--mainly because I keep dozing off on the part of the program that gives the instructions for using them! This guy's just too relaxing, I can't help it! But when used correctly, these tracks probably work great too. SOMEDAY, I'll stay awake long enough to find out.



* Even though it can be easy to fall asleep while listening to this program, its more effective when you're awake. These CD's always seem to work better when I'm well rested or take a nap before listening. (The program does suggest a method for staying awake, I've just got to remember to USE it.)



Overall, I really liked the second CD. Its excellent just on the strength of Part 4 alone. But as a whole, this is an EXCEPTIONAL program. I really wish I could have had it years ago. Its changing my life for the better."
