Call it whatever you want. I call it great music.

"I happened to hear this band on the radio and--since it was sold out at Tower-- bought their CD online. What a treat! I am a serious fan of jazz, blues and R&B music from the 30's through the 60's (even though I find those categories misleading and constraining). What I have heard from other so-called "neo-swing" bands has left me unimpressed, to put it mildly. What I hear in Ron Sunshine and Full Swing's music is a true appreciation and knowledge of the history of American music, and the skill (musicianship, songwriting, and actual SINGING) to bring this all across to the listener. This CD has not left my CD player since I bought it, and I plan to buy a second copy for my car. The original songs sparkle with intelligence, and seduce you with warmth and graceful energy. The covers are respectfully done, without a hint of the cheesily ironic tone that distinguishes most of the other contemporary "swing" acts. And, (hello!) the man can actually sing. Buy this CD. You won't be sorry. I hear they are touring. If they come to LA, you can bet I will be there."

"After seeing Ron on CNN and several other talk shows, I decided to pick up this record. Being an avid music collector, I must have purchased close to 1000 records in 98 and Ron Sunshine & Full Swing tops them all! Whether you are a fan of Swing,Pop, Lounge, Blues, R&B, or even smooth Jazz..this CD will appeal to your tastes. Never has one artist's work captivated and moved me like Ron Sunshines. I am eagerly awaiting the follow up and even planning out my trip to NY just to catch one of his performances! Thank you Full Swing for truly inspiring me."
