His output, since going solo, has been prolific, and one or two duds were inevitable. Whether he was trying too hard to mimic whatever was popular or just trying something new, I found this recording a bit thin in spots. In fairness, the lack of texture makes Chappo's voice that much more front and center, which can be a problem for the uninitiated."
