"Not particularly interested in this release. The very first release by him circa 1980, "You and Me", on A&M, was enchanting R&B at its best. Cuts like the title cut, "You and Me", "Hang Tough", and "After Loving You", have made Rockie Robbins one of my favorite all-time crooners. Just wish I could find this release on CD on the INET."

"This is his 1st LP. It has some nice ballads but not all his hits. He was never known for his dance tunes so some company need to put together a collection of his ballads. I purchased only because my vinyl sounds so bad after 20 years. The man has a voice and it shows on songs like "Be Ever Wonderful", and my favorite off the LP "When I Think of You"."

"I just logged on to see that Rockie's first release is finally available in CD, and nobody deserves this more than he! So many people slept this one, and didn't know anything about him until "You And Me". Now they know! I heard and bought this one when it was first released back in 1979, and I've been in love with Rockie's voice ever since! Unfortunately, my vinyl copy hasn't held up very well over the years from wearin' it out, but I was lucky enough to find another one (mint condition, too). But I'm overjoyed that I can finally get this on CD! My favs from this one are, well...all of them!"
