"This is yet another excellent pop/rock group to come out of the Tempe, AZ scene that spawned the Refreshments and Gin Blossoms. While the Robies share some similarities with these groups, they have their own distinctive sound marked by vibrant guitar work and vocals that are by turns passionate, sarcastic, and ironic. Their songwriting is excellent and there seems to be great chemistry within the group. While they aren't blazing any new musical trails, this is an impressive debut and I look forward to hearing more from this band."
