Synopsis

Album Description
In the winter one of the largest gatherings of Native Leaders united in Washington DC to express their steadfast opposition to oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and to reassert their solidarity with the Gwich'in Nation of Alaska. With this united voice, Robby Romero documented a musical journey on a dogsled to remote villages along the Porcupine Caribou Migration route and traditional homelands of the Gwich'in. The film premiered in South Africa at the United Nations Summit and at the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues in New York City, cultivating awareness about the critical need for permanent protection of America's Last Frontier.

(5 out of 5 stars)

"This album brings the listener on an adventure, an audio adventure, that turns into much, much more...being interested in the issues presented in context, the artistry of this album lies in its grassroots approach to educating appreciating hearts. By presenting Americas Last Fronteir in a spiritually surreal format, sounds of nature combined with the up beat and contemporary mystical sounds of Red Thunder and Robby Romero make this experience all to exciting. After listening you want to be the one involved with this music inspired movement."
