Synopsis

Album Description
Rob Ryndak STAY WITH IT NEW RELEASE (S-SSD 0070) ?Stay With It? succeeds without reservation, without compromise..? Scott Adams~WNUA~The Sounds Of Brazil Radio Network SOUTHPORT records presents the new release of ?STAY WITH IT? by pianist/composer and arranger Rob Ryndak. Rob is a SOUTHPORT veteran, with his third and most ambitious project on the Chicago new music label. The music of Rob Ryndak has a gentle, ethereal quality with patches of urban intensity. It moves, film like, weaving stories and myths. Rob leaves room for his collection of master musicians that include Steve Cole, Richard Patterson, Paul Wertico, John Moulder, Alejo Poveda, Bobby Lewis, Larry Gray, Amir Elsaffar, Jim Gailloretto, and Gary Norian? as they toy with his melodies and rhythms. ?SMOOTH JAZZ? is the essence of the Ryndak sound, but a more accurate description of the music is ?polished jazz.? As a composer Rob Ryndak captures the essence of contemporary jazz forms with the polish of latin, jazz, rock and pop. The title Track #3, ?STAY WITH IT? is a gem of a melody, echoing the essence of Rob?s sensitivity as a composer. Earlier in his life Rob was member of the Franciscan Religious Order and it is this life experience that translates into the beauty of his ?sound.? Track #6, ?DISCOVERY? has an uplifting groove and another memorable melody! Southport Records was founded in 1977 has a way for independent artists to record and distribute their music.
