"Rob Lamothe is THE most underrated singer/song writers of our time. You must hear this album and his previous work to really understand. He is best known for his work as singer for the Riverdogs which only had 1 (US released) album on Epic records in 1990. He wrote and performed with current Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell on that debut. Now he's gone solo and shows where the real talent stands. Being Human is the second solo release from Rob Lamothe. This album is a great mix of rock and folk. He writes and sings about down to earth subjects like family, his kids, and general life experiences. His soulful voice and acoustic guitar will surely take you to heaven. Its a shame he hasnt had much presence in the States where we are overrun with under-talented and no-talent musicians. Maybe thats why he hasnt bothered with a formal US release. However, this cd and his previous release "Gravity" are well worth their price of admission."

"I remember reading an excellant review of this album when it was first released but only resently have i got round to buying it. its brillant.most of the track's hardly go over the mid-tempo mark.there's two or three guitar solo's that are magic and with 'blue ray' there's more than a hint to led zepplin but all done in rob's own unique style.so c'mon take the plunge and find out what its like 'being human'."
