This is Post-Modern Jazz that ranges from the sublime to the near-ridiculous. It is all original music, with the exception of an arrangement of Roger Miller's "King of the Road" that you must hear to believe. There is an abundance of creativity and fun in this recording. In addition to Rob Foster on saxes and flute, with The Russian Dragon Band (Art Lande - piano and drums, Khabu-Doug Young - guitar, and Dwight Kilian - bass), this CD also features Erik Hargrove, of James Brown's band, on drums and percussion.
