Richmond Fontaine is a Portland-based Americana band whose fame has spread across the globe. Acclaimed in the UK with stellar five star reviews in Mojo and Uncut, their Nevada-themed songs of the underdog and the downtrodden set against sparse but inspiring instrumentation inspire and depress at the same time. Live At The Doug Fir caputres the release party for thier 6th studio album The Fitzgerald. It features full band versions of nearly all the songs on the record plus a few more from earlier, now out of print records. It also features guest musicians Mike Coykendall and Colin Oldham. Live At The Doug Fir was recorded multi-track to a separate desk, mixed and mastered for optimal immedicay.
