In late 2006, the singer/songwriter from Newcastle Upon The Tyne and his lead guitarist Athol Cassidy went into the studio to record this set of acoustic versions of tracks from Thompson's two full-band albums "Hidden Daylight" and "Illogical Life". The EP opens with the blues tinged "Another One In Your File". "Athol and I have been playing acoustically for years, but never got around to recording anything in that vain. "Another One In Your File" always stands out when we perform it because of the riffs that drive the song". It's followed by "Green Eyed", re-worked to "highlight the lyrics, which are the strongest element of the song". Also included are versions of "Excuses To Fall" and "You Have Me Surrounded" from the ?Illogical Life? album.
