In celebration of the April 7, 2004 underwater discovery of the remains of the lost airplane of Antoine de Saint-Exupery found in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Marseille and to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the 1974 recording of Richard Burton narrating The Little Prince, rdkRecords has re-issued this Grammy Award Winning Audio CD about an innocent child who teaches a downed Aviator that "what is important can only be seen with the heart."

CD Reviews

Absolutely wonderful!
Elizabeth Williams | Santa Monica, CA | 10/22/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"As a mother of two children and a music teacher in the Los Angeles School System for 20 years, I absolutely recommend this recording above all others for families who want to be entertained and enlightened. Richard Burton's voice is thrilling to listen to. The other cast members on this CD are also excellent and thoroughly charming. The background music score is brilliant. It is easy to see why this recording won a Grammy Award for "best children's recording" - it is without a doubt the most exceptional dramatization of Antoine de St. Exupery's classic story."
Excellent depiction of his work.
