Simply Great Piano Music
06/03/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I just returned from an Alaskan cruise aboard the Crystal Cruise Line, where I heard this guy playing every evening. I bought a CD on board and now have purchased 5 copies on Amazon for gifts to friends. Richard Berman's music is simply delightful. His style is simple and elegant -- and seemingly effortless. He moves freely through a wide range of music, with absolutely no accompainment or background; yet there is never a hanging moment. It's wonderful mood music. A very talented guy."
Sheer Artistry

"As an avid fan of Mr Berman's for many years I can only say that this recording is beautifully articulated and produced. This is the perfect accompaniment to a dinner party or just in general when one feels the need to "unwind". His mastery of the piano is exquisite and I can't wait for the follow-up album."
A most enjoyable experience

"Whether it is background music for a romantic candlelit dinner, cuddling in front of a cozy fire or while curled on the couch with a good book, this beautiful collection of familiar melodies creates the perfect mood. Richard Berman's choice of timeless favorites, from the title song "The Glory of Love" to the last, "That's All" and the positioning of each selection make this CD a love story in itself. Quiet, romantic, soothing, you will find that you cannot help yourself as you drift away on the soft and easy style of this wonderful pianist. More please."
