But in all fairness, this is a rich and textured cd from a band to watch. Atmospheric pop with a kick. Forget the cookie-cutter bands; The Red Telephone churns out timeless guitarscapes and sparkling melodies that will last a long, long time." This is a good upbeat pop-rock CD. 02/08/1999 (4 out of 5 stars) "I saw the Red Telephone as an opening band for Harvey Danger at a recent concert. I tried to order the CD from my local music store, but I have waited close to a year. So, I do not own the CD yet, but I still remember how good the band was. The band is rather Sloanish, but with more guitar. They are also very hot!! They sounded like an Americanized Canadian pop band. (more guitar and stuff). Its just fun stuf!"
