Synopsis

Product Description
We're a psychadelic indie-pop band from San Diego, CA. Usually there's a lot of junk going on in the songs due to there usually being a lot of people playing the songs. Some of the people can play/sing really well. Some can't seem to do anything very well. But they're all very nice people, regardless. Some songs are sad. Some are happy. But we try our best to make them all nice. We love making music!!! With that great bit of information straight from the myspace out of the way Red Pony Clock have been around for what seems forever, but never seem to have had it together. One release after another thrown together for their annual summer tour that was to mainly take them from California to the Athens POPFEST and back. They found a home on Happy Happy Birthday to Me Records back in 2000 when Gabe (rpc) met Mike (hhbtm) at the Kindercore Expo in Athens, GA. Mike loved the song that Gabe presented him for his next comp Happy Happy Birthday to Me Vol 2 that he instantly told them he wanted to put out a single. The 7 inch single "Pete" came shortly after in 2002. Red Pony Clock kept evolving adding and subtracting members like an accountant. The next release was a 4 band split CD with the bands Elekibass, Poison Control Center, & Ryan Anderson released by both HHBTM & Bi-Fi Records. Another split CD was to come shortly after with the fun Swedish band Cat & Dog Dialogue released on Gabe's own label that he shared with his at the time girlfriend Lizeth called Gabe & Lizeth Records. Each year after Red Pony Clock would throw together a rushed EP on a cdr to help fund their tour to popfest and back. Ausaurus Records would come along and compile these EPs on the compilation "Tunes from Terrace Towers". But after six long years the first real full length is available, and it's called "God Made Dirt".
