"This one is a true classic.Red Ingle was the "weird Al Yankovic" of his day, parodying serious popular songs - sometimes even classical is thrown in: "Pagan Ninny" for Paganini. Delightful!I found out about this reissue while listening to "Weekend Radio," a syndicated comedy program. When I was a kid, my sister and I WORE OUT a 78rpm record of "Cigareetes, Whuskey and Wild Wild Women" and, after 40+ years, I was singing right along - that's a memorable piece of music.Once you've heard the title cut, "Tim-Tayshun," you just can't get it out of your head. Most folks today aren't old enough to remember the original (serious) versions of these songs, which is too bad.I would recommend this CD to anyone with a spunky sense of humor - it demonstrates the ridiculous tradition of which we are all so proud. Its style often resembles the "O Brother Where Art Thou" soundtrack - another bonus!"
