Tragically boring cha cha

"Only one track in fifteen makes me want to dance. Most of these are painfully dull. All but three tracks are longer than three minutes and are therefore challenging for new dancers who don't know many cha cha steps. "Staying alive" is the only track worth listening to, and it is too long.



Dance DJs and serious collectors should be advised that this "orchestra" sounds entirely synthesized. The tempo is okay, at about 32 bpm.



Be careful! These appear to be the same tracks issued in 1997 as "It takes two to cha cha." They are the same tracks issued as disc 5 of the 10 disc boxed set "Ballroom Dance Collection" (2006). And they also appear to be the same tracks released as disc 1 of the boxed set "Take your partners, please, Vol. 2" (2005). The 2006 box set is the most economical way to acquire this mediocre stuff. Beware of duplicating these poor recordings in your collection of cha cha music. (You can compare this by using the recording duration times below.)
