Sad Melodic Metal to Perfection
C. Garces | Plantation, Florida United States | 03/29/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I first heard about this obscure band in a chat room, I was asking if anyone had any information on another great band, October Tide, and then someone mentioned this band and told me that if I liked old Katatonia or October Tide I would love this band. So I ordered both albums, "Futile" left me with my mouth open. It was like a band had heard me talk about how I would love a band to sound and based on that went ahead and did the music. It is impossible to label such an elaborate piece of art. The opening track "To Forget" is and ode to heart break in the most amazing way. It sets the tone for what is to come, track by track, the album seems to suck you in completly. All 6 tracks are beautifully written and very emotional, my personal favorites are "While the world sleeps" and "Someone I dont know". The band is just great, all the band members can certainly hold their own and the voice is KILLER! A dark melancholic wail that seems to twist in pain and make everything the more real. I havent heard much about this band, but it really is a shame that so many Metalheads are missing out on this great band. After one listen you will be hooked, wanting to hear more. Fans of Opeth, Katatonia, early Anathema will love this type of music."
