Synopsis

Album Description
The Randy Rogers Band built its audience by combining forces: It's a dynamic live act centered around songs that fit the rowdy, party vibe of the concert circuit, but their songs also say something. That's particularly true in the new album, The Randy Rogers Band, in which a dozen persuasive tracks give the listener plenty of reasons to want to down a celebratory brewski. But the songs also maintain a depth that makes them powerful and provocative even beyond their edgy arrangements and tough-guy sound. The Randy Rogers Band further distinguishes that identity in its self-titled album, the band's second release since signing with Mercury Nashville. Produced by longtime admirer Radney Foster, sessions for The Randy Rogers Band took place at Dockside Studios, a bayou location in Maurice, Louisiana,

CD Reviews

Randy Rogers Band should be famous.

"This latest CD isn't their best, but it's darned good. The Randy Rogers Band doesn't get nearly enough attention."
Great Album

"I have every cd RR has put out and have went to see every one of their shows I can. This cd does have a different sound than the others but just because it's different doesn't make it bad like some of these other reviews are saying.

This is a great band with great energy. I guess they aren't on the main airwaves because they don't appeal to teenagers like a band such as the Eli Young band. (which is a HORRIBLE band and sounds like they were thrown together by some talent scout to try and compete with boy bands)"
