As other reviews have mentioned, this album is for all intents and purposes Oregon (Ralph Towner, Glen Moore, Paul McCandless, Collin Walcott) at its inception - recorded November 1972 at Sound Ideas Studios, New York. Most of the pieces center around Towner's 12-string guitar with sparse accompaniment from one or more of his Oregon associates. Bill Evans' composition "Re: Person I Knew" is included as a jazz reference point. Classic must-own and excellent introduction for anyone who is the slightest bit curious about Oregon, or Towner."
