"A historiclly significant band playing better material than they usually played for Mercury records. Recording quality is bad for a studio recording, reflecting the 1959 penchant for adding too much reverb. Too bad the soloists and arrangers are not identified. Having played with this band one year later I recall that Moonglow is arranged by Al Cohn, Easy Does It by Roger Kellaway and The Song Is You by Bill Holman. Others I can't remember."
