CD Reviews

Pleasing to the ear, no contrived arrangements; top notch!

"I just heard this CD, which my sister shared with me. Being conditioned to expect mediocrity in this genre, I was a bit skeptical at first. Then the voice of Rabito (odd name, wonder what it stands for; a nickname? family name?)came forth as a caress and with Sinceridad and clarity. I couldn't tell if he was trying to sound like Charles Aznavour or Brazilian singer, Roberto Carlos. He doesn't. This is not some imitator of great voices, this is A TRULY UNIQUE and breath of fresh air. The song 'Enamorado', resonates with tenderness and depth so that even the most jaded listener is compelled to listen beyond the words and music. Simple, unpretentious, not an ounce of contrivance in the stylings of his songs. I strongly recommend this outstanding CD as a top-10 item in the listeners music collection. Now, a little praise in Spanish. Que bella letra, musica, voz, y sentimiento se percibe al escuchar este CD. En mi opinion, no ha existido hasta el dia de hoy, un cantante que manifieste el amor al Senor como lo hace Rabito. Espero ansiosamente sus proximos CDs y le deseo mucho exito a este gran interprete de la cancion, para la Gloria y el Honor de Nuestro Padre Celestial."

"I discovered Rabito and "Sinceridad" while holidaying in Puerto Rico last summer. I'm not spanish speaking, but oh the music...the certainly is the greatest piece of music I've heard in ages and I play it everyday in the office. And would you believe, I can now sing in spanish. Keep up the good work Rabito!"
Proof-positive that music is a universal language !

"Extraordinary Music: Discovered while on a business trip to Dallas and listening to the Spaniish radio station. While reading, the sound of Sinceridad stopped me and drew my attention to the song. The extraordinary quality of the music and voice told me that this was something special. Music must be the language of the soul because you see I do not know Spanish and had no idea that this song was religiously oriented. That began my serach to find the song and the artist. I correctly picked out the word Sinceidad(and spelled it correctly) and found the CD/tape on the internet. I have played the tape over and over and absolutely love each and every song(I can pick out some words and am learning more !). I highly recommend this CD and look forward to more works from Rabito."
