Synopsis

Album Description
WE ARE...we are the way one feels when identifying a loved one's badly decomposed body. we are the grave markers scattered across the highways and backroads of the country. we are the people you feel watching you in an empty room. we are the equal and opposite reaction. we are the voice you thought called your name when you were home alone. we are responsible for the realization that life's one guarantee is death. we are the mirror's reflection in a pitch black room. we are the unexplained images captured on your roll of film. we are the shadowy figures behind the curtain in the attic window. we are the blood stains left behind at every crime scene and the fresh ink drying on every suicide letter. we are...PROJECT:DEADMAN

CD Reviews

A Horrorcore Classik!

"Where to begin? The fusion of metal and rap on this CD is flawless. The opening track (following the intro) really gets you fired up, for the lack of a better term. I was yelling the chorus along with it before I even listened to the whole song once. The guest spots are excellent, especially "Body Bag" w/The Dayton Family. The second half of the album gets even better. Lost Breath, No Rest For The Wicked, Poison, and Time To Go could all be my favorite tracks (along with Corporate Lies). Everyone has a unique beat with a killer chorus (especially No Rest...). Ultimately, I can't find a fault with the whole album. It's really refreshing after getting off the wicked rap genre for a good 3-4 years. The only drawback I thought was that there weren't many humorous tracks, skits, or segments on the album; that's something I usually find quite refreshing...but realisitically it's not something that would fit in on the album. Self Inflicted is exactly what it claims to be - The Wickedest Record You've heard in some time."
Self Inflicted skull crushing.

"I've been a fan of Bedlam for years. I had the chance to see them live and I was just blown away by how INTENSE Prozak and Madness we're. These two have 4 full length LPs as Bedlam. Prozak originally was slated to release "Self Inflicted" under his own name at Wickedstock 4, the release was pushed back and the group was donned Project Deadman, bringing in Mike E. Clark as the producer.

This album is not anything like ICP, its more intense. Overall the tracks themselves are just hard hitting, the vocals are intense. The album is good, very good. I'm definately behind Prozak all the way. He's a badass, plain and simple.

The best tracks have to be Body Bag, with the Dayton Family, which is just a suprisingly fresh track. The second best would have to be Access Denied with Tech N9ne.

I gave this 4 out of 5, just because in my opinion it just isn't as good as the work Prozak did as Bedlam.

This CD is worth having, PDM4L."
