CD Reviews

The greatest glam metal band of all time

"Chances are, if you are looking at this page, you already know that Pretty Boy Floyd had etched an indelible mark into the landscape of the music industry with their Leather Boyz album. The standard Pretty Boy Floyd had set with that album has not been surpassed since, even by current glam all-stars Shameless. (who feature Steve and Kari Kane from PBF)The songs on Vault are more of the same. Sure the sound quality is poor, but the songs are plain amazing. Coupled with Kristy's heavy guitar, Kari's double-bass drum -n- cowbell onslaught, and Steve's glam-bam-shazaam vocals, this album contains some of PBF's best.48 Hours to Rock!!"
Great band, horrible, horrible, horrible CD.

"This CD should have never of been released! The songs are great, but the sound quality is flat-out horrible. 99% of all the tracks, there is this loud hissing sound all though out the songs. It's so bad, you can't hear the songs. In the liner notes, Kristy does mention that the quality may not be upto par. Since that was indded the case, he should have tried harder to remaster the tracks, or should have decided not to release it al all. Kristy also mentions that there could be a Vault Vol 2. If it's anything like this recording, count me out. There's only 1 track (out of 19) that is listenable. I mean, the photo of the band on the cover is even choppy. I am very surprised that Perris went though with this, even after listening to it! You should be ashamed Tom Mathers! This is nothing but gargabe!"
Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?

"This is the worst sound quality I have ever heard on a compact disc. It sounds as if they took a tape, of a tape, of a tape, of a tape, of a tape, of a tape, and burned it to disc without putting a dime into re-mastering it. Total garbage! I can't believe how bad the quality of the disc is. What a waste of money! If they cared about their fans, they never would have released this piece of trash."
