Re-Mixed To Death

(5 out of 5 stars)

"WHOA! This CD was an instant hit with me from the time it arrived at my door. David Bowie's "Jean Genie" was reworked amazingly by Praga and the live version of Phantasia Forever is a masterpiece. The BEST song on this album is Praga's rendition of "Lust For Life" something I'll never be able to turn off early. The drum program is absolutely mindblowing and the bass and rhythm just make this song a friggin' masterpiece altogether. The rest of the album consists mainly of remixes off of Praga Khan sinlges. I guess you could look at this album as a sampler of his maxi-singles. Either way, this is a MUST-ADD to your collection."

"If you need an energy injection, take a shot of Mixed Up. Some remix albums can dillute the orginal work, but not in this case. I plan on uses a couple of the tracks in my next mix. PK's work walks the line between, in some cases, between being high energy danceable techno and industrial - electronic body music. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Those involved with the remixes influence the work with their style, e.g. Front 242. My only complaint was that Injected with a Poison was not included."

"before i get harped on, lemme say rainy days kick azz. this album is like a little downtime preview of Praga showing what his off season is like. with 2 bangin' new trax (breathing new life N2 JeanGenie & Lust4Life) that are str8 from heaven and a compile of mixes from other rare singles, this is a gift for the US public and a good album for on the way to the club, sippin coffee or just havin a nice drive on a rainy day. if you wanna hear some different PK, this is one way he serves everyone, by giving u a taste of some of the harder2find mixes of his mixterpiecez. if u liked this u'll like the luvUstill single!"
