Incredible Collection of Early Blues

"This CD is a super-fantastic collection of Mctell's early sides for Victor and Columbia. Although the Sony collection is a little better mastered, don't let that sway you. This one is indispensible. I especially like McTell's vocal delivery and guitar work in his early career. He has a genuinely soft style, much like John Hurt's style. This is an absolutely neccessary addition to your blues library."
