Synopsis

Album Description
Shepherd's Symphony is the 25th album release by the phenomenon known as Popol Vuh, the musical outlet for over a quarter of a century for Florian Fricke. This (seven-movement) album is quite unlike other Popol Vuh recordings, it assimilates elements of techno and hip-hop to appeal to both new and younger listeners as well as existing fans. This album was recorded by the trio of Fricke, Fiedler and Hieronymus.

CD Reviews

It's hardly techno or hip hop
Urashima Taro | Tokyo, Japan | 05/02/2006
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This is another album of the Hieronimus era and, as such, it's very different from those of the classic Popol Vuh era and not quite as brilliant. It's however as fresh as anything else from Florian Fricke and very pleasant. Hardly techno and hip-hop.
