"I'm not that kind of zookeeper! Pookey Bleum's newest assortment of power pop goodness, titled "Lo-Fi Rainbow," is simply delicious. All twelve songs have memorable moments, from "Tasty"'s ultra-catchy chorus of "We sound tasty to the lions" to "Uptight"'s rapid-fire vocals to "Really Believe"'s extended instrumental ending. This band just keeps getting better and better. Their clever lyrics are delivered with consistently sugary sweet vocal harmonies that I can't get out of my head, and there is plenty of crunchy guitar to rock my world. Anyway, this cd has not let my cd player in over a week. It's that good! Buy it! Now!"
