PLAYA FLY IS SO TIGHT, MANE!
10/06/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Once again it's on in tha "FUNKYTOWN". Playa Fly gotta be the dopest rapper in Memphis. I know all bout that SPL thang, since I spent the first 11 years of my life in South Memphis. I stay in Hickory Hill now, but it don't even matter cause I'm still gonna throw up the South. "Nobody Needs Nobody" is a song that made me think that I don't need anyone. I'm straight being by myself and ya'll lames can just go to hell. The beat is so bumpin' that you can't stay in your seat. "Situation" is tight as well. It goes "Situation's critical, everybody's lookin' pitiful", and mane it's so bumpin'! But my favorite song on the Moving On CD would have to be IBN. That is a phrase that "IB" using all the time. "IBN the liquor store or IBN the wind as Fly would say." Ibn, Ibn, IBN. IBN in it to win it. It just don't get no better. SOUTH MEMPHIS at its best! FLY I just want you to know that I admire you and hope you continue to represent the West Tennessee Area, more specifically the M-Town. ABSOLUTELY NO HATIN'. SPL, SPV, NATIONWIDE BABY. SOUTH PARKWAY EVERYDAY, DON'T PLAY!"
The most slept on and tightest underground rapper

(5 out of 5 stars)

"For everyone who thinks an underground rapper can't make a perfect album then you will be surprised when you here Fly . Movin' On is a perfect example of the tightness down in Memphis. This album is not your every day No Limit nonrappin' *** MC's talking about killing and robbing, this is one of the true rappers talking about every day life in a realistic and respectable styleand manner. Playa Fly has 12 songs on this album and it is tight from start to finish."
