CD ReviewsGood compilation if you can overlook the cheesy lyrics zigzblazin | Morgantown, PA USA | 06/21/2003 (4 out of 5 stars) "Saw that no one else has wrote a review of this soo I thought I'd take a stab at it. This is nothing mindblowing just a collection of electronic (techno for the uneducated) songs from different christian artists. Unfortunately, there is only one instrumental on this, generally I prefer this type of music without words, but it's still listenable. And unlike most christian music none of these tracks are overly preachy or trying to clone the sound of mainstream. If you're going to put a label on this I would say it's mostly synthpop. The standout tracks are track 6 "Rapture" with a melancholy vibe and sputtering beats. The aptly titled "Nostalgia" which isn't to impressive musically but actually has decent lyrics. And of course Joy Electric has the strongest showing here with the closer "Parlor Inventor". No annoying vocals here just a vocoder which makes it bearable. Anyways, I gave this 4 stars cause it's cheap and diverse soo more then likely you'll find something you like. Cop it.. And if you like this check out Ladytron or Felix Da Housecat."
