GREAT RECORDING. A MUST FOR EVERY CD LIBRARY!

"Three of the most exciting and popular works in the entire symphonic literature, performed with excitement, electricity, and great musicianship. These Australian orchestras, from the example of this CD, compare in quality with some of the best European ensembles. Conductor Jose Serebrier drives the music to ubearable climaxes, but the tender passages are very sensitive and touching. This is probably the best version of "1812" on CD. Bolero is equally satisfying and exciting. The Planets is unquestionably the best recorded performance ever. And the price is right."
