"what a great band and what a great cd for their fans...sure its a little pricey, but you see these guys have something called talent...i know most people don't hear that word often these days...thats for a reason though...because what you hear on the radios and on MTV and such are media hyped ... not even worth mentioning...eminem can go play with his self (his alter ego) meanwhile i'll be enjoying great music like pc 69...anything you see by them grab it...if you like these guys check out Fair Warning,Soul Doctor, Fiore,Savannah,Gotthard,Bonfire,Pretty Maids,Adagio,D.A.D.,Talisman,Takara as well as many other great bands that you wont see on American TV..and if you like things a little heavier, check out Seven Wishes,Secret Sphere,Projecto,Symphony X,Helloween,At Vance,Hemisphere,Highlord,Dark Moor,Timescape, twilight kingdom ,etc"

"Shortly after releasing their flat-out amazing 2000 album Sonic Dynamite, melodic hard rock masters Pink Cream 69 served up this neat little EP, which features a few gems that no true PC69 fan should do without.

The disc kicks off with a re-recording of the song One Step into Paradise, a song from the old Andi Deris days, this time with the electrifying David Readman on vocals. I love this guy's voice, and love the old PC69 material, so this one was a real treat for me.

Next up is an acoustic version of Seas of Madness, one of the standout tracks from Sonic Dynamite (note: they're ALL standout tracks). It's nice to hear a different take on the song, but every time it plays I keep thinking "rock, curse you, ROCK!!!"

Also included is a relatively laid-back studio song called King of My World, which was apparently cut from the Sonic Dynamite album. I'm glad to get a chance to hear it on this EP.

The song I was most excited to hear, and the one I was least impressed with, was the band's cover of the Motley Crue classic Looks That Kill. It's a faithful cover, but the band just doesn't seem to bring that trademark PC69 energy to the song. It feels like a missed opportunity to me.

A pair of bootleg live recordings - Shame and Break the Silence - round out the EP. They're of surprisingly good quality considering the source. It makes you wonder when the band will get around to releasing an official live album. If their performance at ProgPower USA VI was any indication, it would be an amazing release.

With just 6 songs, and clocking in at under 26 minutes, this EP doesn't have a lot for casual fans of the band, but die-hard PC69 fans will definitely want to add Mixery to your collections."
